The book “Garabagh folklore: genre poetics and ritual traditions” by Sonmaz Abbasli was published

The book “Garabagh folklore: genre poetics and ritual traditions” by PhD Sonmaz Abbasli was published. The book is about the folklore environment of Garabagh – the integral part of Azerbaijan. In the mentioned environment, poetry and ritual traditions of folklore genres are involved in scientific analysis on the basis of samples recorded from the region, especially the functional semantics of folklore samples related to socio-cultural characteristics of the region and its impact on social processes. In the context of the scientific-theoretical view on the subject, the problem is analyzed and the results are obtained.
The book was published within the scientific-research program “Multidisciplinary study of the functional structure of Azerbaijani folklore and its impact on socio-cultural processes” of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS. The scientific editor of the book is Doctor of Philology Jalal Beydili (Mammadov). The book is dedicated to the brilliant victories of the glorious Azerbaijani Army, which liberated Garabagh lands from occupation under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. Garabagh is Azerbaijan!
