The book “Sumerian and Turkic epics” is published in European languages

German publishing house Lambert publishes the book “Sumerian and Turkish epics” by Doctor of Philological Sciences Islam Sadig in eight languages of European peoples – English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Polish, Portuguese and Russian.
In the book “Sumerian and Turkic epics” by Islam Sadig, which contributed to the formation of Sumerology in Azerbaijan as a science, a small part of his researches in this field was collected. In the publication Sumerian and Turkic epics were studied comparatively, a large number of similar and identical motifs were found. The first significant research work devoted to the comparative analysis of Sumerian and Turkic epics, the publication of this monograph in 8 languages in Europe is the success of Azerbaijani science and Turkology as a whole.
It is important to note that I.Sadig’s book “Sumerian and Turkic epics” was published in Turkey last year.
