The mutual relationship of poetry with folklore is studied
The next online event of the department “Folklore and written literature” of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS was dedicated to the mutual relationship of poetry with folklore. The head of the department “Folklore and written literature”, corresponding member of ANAS, honored scientist Kamran Aliyev noted that the mutual relationship of poetry with folklore further increased the possibilities of poetry art and gave an impetus to the creation of new poetic examples.
Invited to the event for the discussion, the poet Nurana Nur spoke about the technology of the formation of poems and described the formation of folklore layers in poetry as a threat event. Then she read her new poems.
Along with Nurana Nur’s poems the discussion continued with the analysis of the examples by other poets. In their speeches the employees of the department such as PhD, associate professor Fidan Gasimova, associate professor Aynur Ibrahimova, PhD Aytaj Abbasova emphasized that images, motifs and sometimes plot signs from folklore and mythology create conditions for more natural presentation of the idea among poets. It was also noted that the unity of folk art thinking with the idea of the master is one of the important means of further enrichment of the national spiritual heritage.
