The scientists from Azerbaijan were at the scientific symposium
“V International Agridag and Noah’s ship”
On the 16-18th of October in 2019 Ibrahim Chechen University, Governorship of Agri, Municipality of Agri and Belli Education Culture History and Archaeological Research Center-BEKAM organized “V International Agridag and Noah’s ship” symposium was held. The symposium was one of the biggest events held in Turkey in recent years and it played an important role in the scientific-literary and cultural-political life of Turkey. The symposium took place within 3 days – October 16-18 at the meeting halls of Ibrahim Chechen University “Osmanli”, “Seljuklu” and “Anatolian”. The symposium was attended by representatives of various universities and research centers of Turkey, as well as Azerbaijan, USA, England, Russia, Germany, Hungary and so on.
This symposium, attended by prominent scientists and researchers, lasted 3 days. About 120 presentations were heard at the symposium. The delegation from Azerbaijan consisted of 9 people.
Ph.D, associate professor Tahir Orujov also took part at the symposium. His report was named “Noah’s ship and Agridag: legends, realities and the lie of Armenian history”.
After the closing session “V International Agridag and Noah’s ship” symposium within the framework of the program the historical buildings, culture, art museums and other places of interest of the city Dogubeyazit of the Republic of Turkey were organized.
