The book of folklore

The sixth and seventh volumes of the ten-volume collected works by head of the department of “Folklore and written Literature” of the Institute of Folklore, Honored Worker of Science, corresponding member of ANAS Kamran Aliyev were published. The scientific editor and author of the “Preface” to the sixth volume “Folklore Book” is director of the Institute of Folklore, academician Mukhtar Imanov and the compiler is Ph.D Gulnar Osmanova. The book includes the author’s monographic book “Romanticism and Folklore”, research on the history, theory and poetry of folklore. A number of articles are devoted to the relationship of folklore and written literature, the poetry of the epos “Koroglu” and the work of modern folklore.
The scientific editors of the seventh volume “Dede Gorgud” and the authors of the “Preface” are Professor Ahmad Bijan Arjilasun and Doctor of Philology Sona Valieva and the compiler is Ph.D Gulnar Osmanova. This volume contains the publications of the author’s monograph “Open Book - Dede Gorgud” in the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Persian languages.
