The presentation of the book “Gadim turk yurdu Nakhchivan”
(“Nakhchivan is the ancient Turkic country”)

The Central Scientific Library of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) made the presentation of the book “Nakhchivan is the ancient Turkic country” by Nizami Muradoglu, Doctor of Philology, head of the department “Education” of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS. The scientific editor of the book, deputy director of the Institute of Philosophy of ANAS, PhD Eynulla Madatli spoke at the event and informed about the scientific significance of the publication. It was noted that the book “Traces and claims of Armenian crimes in Yerevan” by N.Muradoglu is the collection of articles reflecting historical facts published with the intelligentsia public union “Araz” with the financial support of the Council of state support to non-governmental organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The extensive information about the resettlement of Armenians to the Nakhchivan region, the wildness against the local population and the bloody wars. The reviewers of the book are Ph.D Kamran Ismayilov and Ph.D Nasir Guluzade.

Director of Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, corresponding member of ANAS Eyyub Guliyev, deputy director of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, doctor of philology Alizade Asgarli, deputy director for scientific affairs of the Institute of Folklore, doctor of philology Oruj Aliyev, employee of the Institute of Caucasian Studies, doctor of philosophy in history Kamran Ismayilov, leading researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies Mirza Ansarli, doctor of philology Allahverdi Mammadli and others spoke about the scientific and historical significance of the book and wished the author success in his future work. At the end the author thanked to the participants of the event.
