Academician Mukhtar Imanov had a master class
at Baku Engineering University
On the 30th of November the director of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, academician Mukhtar Imanov gave a lecture on the theme “Folk smile” to the teachers and students of the Faculty of Philology of the Baku Engineering University. The opinions of the scientist on poetics of folk laughter, seriousness in folklore, and comicism have caused great interest of the audience. The reporter answered questions addressed to him after his academic speech. At the meeting with the teachers and students of the Baku Engineering University, the employees of the Folklore Institute also participated. It should be noted that holding such meetings between ANAS and higher education institutions is also important in increasing the interest of young people in science along with the expansion of cooperation.
