Collaborators of our Institute had taken part in the Conference
“First International Develi-Ashug Seyrani and Turkic Culture”

On the 4th-6th of October the Conference “The First International Develi-Ashug Seyrani and Turkic Culture” was held in Kayseri city of Turkey. Many scientists and investigators from Turkey and foreign countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kirghizstan, Uzbekistan, Greece, etc. took part at the conference. Some collaborators from the Institute of Folklore reported on different themes such as Ph.D., associate professor Laman Suleymanova “Tenbur songs”, Mahsati Suleymanova “Ashugs in legends and jokes”, Ph.D., associate professor Sabina Isayeva “Ashug Seyrani’s poems and the poetical tradition”, Ph.D. Aynura Safarova “A look at Ashug Seyrani’s art”, Farida Mirishova “Azerbaijan ashug art (Shirvan region)”.
