Kazakh eposes
According to the researchers’ opinions Kazakh eposes immortalized during the centuries had been formed during the Golden Orda period, but the different epic poems were created at the end of the 14th century and in the 15th-16th centuries. The events in the social and political life of the people, as well as the historical struggle for the people’s freedom, justice and future dreams take part in Kazakh eposes. The eposes belonging to the Kazakh people are mainly heroic and social-life epics. The main theme of the heroic eposes is the protection of native homeland from the foreign invaders by the heroic heroes of the eposes. These heroes show the superior qualities of the people such as love to the native land, hate to the enemy, indulgence, prowess and courage. Such eposes are the followings: “Alpamish”, “Goblandi batir”, “Er Sayin”, “Er Targin”, “Er Gogshe”, “Gambar batir”, “Gırg batır” and others. |
