The collaborator of the Institute of Folklore took part at the conference “Slavic traditional culture and the modern world”
From the 23rd till the 26th of May in the capital of Russia Federation in Moscow the 22nd International Scientific Conference named “Slavic traditional culture and the modern world” was held. The conference was held together with The Culture Ministry of Russia Federation, The Centre of Controlling the Culture Strategies and Projects, State Russian Folklore Centre, World Literature Institute of Russia Academy of Sciences named after M.Gorki, Moscow City Council and The House of Moscow Nations. The theme of the conference was “The image-subject-human-art in folklore and the traditional culture”. The articles given to the conference were about the different aspects of those themes.
The conference began in the House of Moscow Nations. The chief of the department “Ceremony folklore” of the Institute of Folklore, Ph.D. Agaverdi Khalil took part at the conference. His theme was “The structural typology of the hero image in Oghuz and Slavic epos”. There were discussions about the themes. At the conference the new publishing, the traditional folk clothes and folklore ensembles were shown.
