The scientific worker of the Institute of Folklore took part at the symposium “The First International Removing and Culture”

On the 1st – 3rd of December the symposium called “The First International Removing and Culture” was held in Amasya city of Turkey. In the international symposium organized by Amasya University and KIBATEK many scientists from different countries such as Azerbaijan, Iran, Afghanistan and North Cyprus Turkic Republic took part. The reports done by the scientists were about removing in the history, removing before the history, removing and wars, removing in the cinema art, removing and the cultural adaptation.

The senior scientific worker of the department “Dede Gorgud” of the Institute of Folklore ANAS Khalida Mammadova took part in the symposium with her report on the theme “Movlud Suleymanli’s novel “Koch””. In the report it was mentioned that in the novel the folklore examples had been used very much in the novel. The thought told by the author “The people of nomad have protected the history, traditions, customs, beliefs, in other words, folk literature” was also discussed.
