Scientific workers of the Institute of Folklore took part in International Conference in Ankara

Representatives of the Institute of Folklore took part on the 29th September – 01st October in 2016 in the symposium “The 4th International Folk Culture” in Ankara organized by Hajettepe University and Kazan Municipality. The symposium was opened by Yalchin Topchu who is the head advisor of the President of Turkey Republic Rajab Tayyip Ardogan. Greeting the representatives of the symposium he reported his article. Then the opening meeting was continued by Prof. Ozkul Chobanoglu, Lokman Erturk and Prof. Ilhami Durmush.
The representatives of the Institute of Folklore Ph.D. Laman Suleymanova and Mahsati Suleymanova reported the article “Haylachi Sanam’s life and activity”, Ph.D. Galib Sayilov reported the article “The paradigm of the shepherd in Turkic ethnic-cultural thinking history”, Farida Mirishova also reported the article “Music folklore of South Azerbaijan region”.
The symposium was held in three halls with thirty three meetings, in general 150 scientists from 8 countries took part in the symposium. During the symposium days the representatives visited Hati Chirpa’s home-museum who was the first woman deputy of the Turkey Republic and Kazan Municipality, they also visited the wedding party in Karalar village of the Kazan region.
