THE BOOK “JOLAN TURKMENS” (FOLKLORE AND ETHNOGRAPY SAMPLES) WAS PUBLISHED IN TABRIZ

The publishing house “Denizchin” in Tabriz republished the book “Jolan Turkmens” (folklore and ethnography samples) combining to the ancient alphabet in 2016 which was published in 2014 by the Institute of Folklore ANAS. The book was prepared by Ali Shamil who is the chairman of the department International relations at the Institute of Folklore. After the publication the articles were written in press of some republics such as in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, etc. But in Turkey some journals published some parts of the book. The book was estimated as the first systematical work written about the life of Turkmens living in Syria. In the book the information about the number, generation, the list of villages, folklore and dialect samples and ceremonies of Turkmens is given.
The variant of the book was translated into the ancient alphabet by Mahbuba Herischiyan, but Hasan Umudoglu had given the explanation of some words and terms. The book with 144 pages was designed by Mehdi Meymend.
