New publications consisting of South Azerbaijan folklore samples
were published

The hard work of the employees of the “South Azerbaijan folklore” department of the Institute of Folklore, the joint efforts of the Southern researchers, intellectuals, scientists from Turkey have collected wonderful samples and new steps have been taken in the direction of collecting, publishing and researching the Southern folklore. Thus, two new folklore collections published by the decision of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Folklore ANAS – “South Azerbaijan folklore. Book XIII” and “South Azerbaijan folklore. Book XIV”. The examples of folklore collected from different regions of the South were included in the books. The book is also a valuable collection with rich folklore samples such as children’s poems, quatrains, proverbs, sayings, folk medicine samples, beliefs, fairy tales and legends. In the 14th volume, where examples of Southern folklore were collected, samples of epics related to the rich oral folk art on the other side were included.
