Employees of the Institute of Folklore participated in the International Conference in Kayseri

Among June 30 and July 2 the 3rd International Develi-Aşıq Seyrani and Turkish Culture conference was held in the Devechi region of Kayseri in Turkey. Organized by Develi Municipality the 3rd International Develi-Ashiq Seyrani and Turkish Culture conference started with a great opening program at the Mustafa Aksu Cultural Center. More than 100 scientists from different countries (Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Hungary, North Macedonia and Iraq) participated in the conference, which was jointly organized by Gostivar International Vision University, West Cyprus University, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and Kayseri Maturation Institute. At the confrence the valuable scientific reports on the theme Devali, Aşık Seyrani and Turkish Culture were made. The reports by the scientists of ANAS Institute of Folklore such as Professor Seyfaddin Rzasoy “The semantic structure of the character “Ashiq” in the 19th century ashiq poetry: Ashiq Seyrani and Ashiq Alasgar”, Ali Shamil “Turkism of Central Asia”, associate professor Galib Sayilov “Commercial concepts in ashiq poetry”, associate professor Ilhama Gasabova “Archaic mourning traditions in the Turkish ethnic cultural tradition (according to the Ozan-Ashik-Bahshi Tradition)”, associate professor Leman Süleymanova “Past and future of Henna ceremonies”, associate professor Aynur Ibrahimova “Energy from National Memory in Bakhtiyar Vahapzade’s activity: based on the work “The Sword That Cuts Ourselves”, Mahsati Suleymanova “Role of games in children’s education and development” were made.
