The program “Dunya bir nagildi” of the Azerbaijani radio

On the 25th of April the employee of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Ph.D. Elchin Galiboglu was a guest of the program “Dunya bir nagildi” of the Azerbaijani radio. The program was dedicated to the theme “Hero in Azerbaijani tales”. It was noted that in the tales the hero is required to realize this or that beautiful desire, there are requirements to be expected from him. First of all, the hero is a master of thought. The image of the hero in the mind in accordance with the folk spirit creates and immortalize. And so the tradition is not broken. The idea of fairy tales requires the hero to overcome involuntary difficulties. In fairy-tale thinking, the half-hero is essentially a false hero. In the fairy-tale world the hero changes the order of the course. In Azerbaijani fairy tales the real hero breaks the charm, overcomes difficulties. The fairy tales were also performed by People’s Artist, well-known announcer Eldost Bayram.
