The book “Nizami Ganjavi: ethno-genesis and mythology” by Sayfaddin Rzasoy was published

The book “Nizami Ganjavi: ethno-genesis and mythology” by head of the department “Mythology” of Institute of Folklore ANAS, Professor Sayfaddin Rzasoy was published. The main text of the diploma work, which the author defended in 1986 was presented in the book as in the original. In the book some problems such as Azerbaijan-Oghuz mythology, theoretical-aesthetic conditions and historical-ethnic conditions of Nizami’s appeal to mythological motives in the 12th century Renaissance, the master’s concept of unity of nature and society in the poem “Seven Beauties”, Bahram and Oghuz hunting cult Bekil, socio-moral ideas and ancient legends, the use of Azerbaijani-Oghuz legends in the poem “Good and Evil”, etc. were discussed. The scientific editor of the book was Professor Mursal Hakimov, the reviewer was associate professor Israil Mustafayev.
